Cameron is currently a BFA major at the Florida State University School of Dance. She began dancing at Tutterow Dance Academy, studying jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. She attended high school at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts to study ballet and modern and graduated from the Dance Department in 2019. In 2018, Cameron joined the St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory to train more intensively in ballet technique.
Her primary training focuses are ballet and contemporary techniques, prompting her work with the LINES Discovery Projects for four years and attendance of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Summer Program (2017) and Complexions Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive (2021). Cameron has also trained at summer programs with the St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory (2019-2020), Next Generation Ballet (2018), and Patel Conservatory (2018).
Cameron immerses herself extensively in multiple workshops and conventions year-round and is always looking forward to new experiences and opportunities to further her growth as a dancer.
In addition to performance, Cameron also choreographs and teaches at the Tallahassee Ballet and has guest taught at St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory’s Summer Intensive. Several of her choreographic works have been featured in various concerts at Florida State University, Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School, Patel Conservatory, and most recently The St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory.
